CEO & Director
Mr. Coleman has joined to the Boddington as Executive Vice President – Operations in January 2005. He was promoted to Executive Vice President – Operations and Chief Operating Officer in August 2010.
For more than six years, Mr.Coleman was responsible for Boddington global mining and processing operations, supply chain, procurement, and environment. Mr. Coleman focus on employees, innovation and execution has propelled significant Company growth and expansions. He has also led programs to improve operational efficiency, lower production costs and advance sustainability performance through water, energy and greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Prior to joining Boddington Gold Corp., Mr.Coleman was President of Australia Pacific for Barrick Gold Corporation, the largest gold producer in Australia, where he was responsible for the Australia Pacific Business Unit consisting of 10 gold and copper mines in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Mr.Coleman has more than 25 years of experience in mining and processing operations, and has held various management, engineering and other roles in the mining industry in Canada and Australia. He holds a bachelor of science degree in mining and mineral engineering from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Steve Gatley
Vice President
Mr. Gatley is a British citizen and a qualified mining engineer with over 30 years' experience in the base metals mining industry. He has worked at Boddington and Newmont Gold Mine since 1980 in a range of roles including geological, Director miner and underground manager
General Manager Boddington Gold Corp
Mr Gatley is a British citizen and a qualified mining engineer with over 30 years' experience in the base metals mining industry. He has worked at Boddington since 2006 in a range of roles including geological, Director miner and underground manager. Mr Gatley has been General Manager of Boddington Gold Mine since 2009, with full responsibility for day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining Boddington, he was a Director mining engineer for Anglo American Platinum Joint Venture Operations. He was appointed the president of the Association of the Mine Managers of London in 2003.
He obtained mining engineer degree from the University of Wolverhampton (UK), and is a Fellow of the British Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Prior to joining Boddington, he was a Director mining engineer for Anglo American Platinum Joint Venture Operations. He was appointed the president of the Association of the Mine Managers of London in 2003.
He obtained mining engineer degree from the University of Wolverhampton (UK), and is a Fellow of the British Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
Phd - Dr. Neil O'Brien
Vice President
Dr. O'Brien graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc Eng (Mining Geology) and was awarded a PhD in Geology for research into Archaean gold and antimony deposits (Witwatersrand University). He is a member of the South African Institute for Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the Witwatersrand University Mining Engineers Association.
Exploration and Business Development,
Dr. O'Brien has worked for Boddington since 2001. During this time, he has been responsible for the establishment and management of the resource bases at the producing Boddington, Newmont Gold Mine in Zimbabwe and the assessment of the Atacama Copper Chile project, resulting in a reinterpretation of the ore body and an improved definition of the resources and mineralogical characteristics. This work at Atacama provided the basis for the 2010 and 2011 exploration programs. Prior to joining Boddington , Dr. O'Brien worked for a number of financial institutions in South Africa as a highly rated gold analyst, as well as consulting to a number of mining companies. He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc Eng (Mining Geology) and was awarded a PhD in Geology for research into Archaean gold and antimony deposits (Witwatersrand University). He is a member of the Geological Society of South Africa; elected a Fellow of the Society in 2004, a member of the South African Institute for Mining and Metallurgy and a member of the Witwatersrand University Mining Engineers Association.
Carol Bronth
Vice President
Mrs. Bronth earned her bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Minnesota, an MBA in strategic planning from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Human Resources and Development
Mrs. Bronth was named Vice President, Human Resources in April 2010. Previously, Mrs. Bronth held leadership positions at Barrick Gold including Vice President of International HR, Vice President of HR Development and Vice President of Relationship with Communities also She worked for BHP as HR management Director and Reward.
Mrs. Bronth earned her bachelor’s degree in finance and administration at the University of Minnesota a Masters Degree engineering with a minor in Business Management Harvard Business. Mrs. Bronth is currently on the board of the GoldCorp Society and is a member of the London Women's Economic Roundtable.

Derek Riehm
Vice President
Mr. Riehm holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration, both from Laurentian University. He also retains the designation of Professional Geoscientist, Canadian, currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada
Environment and Sustainability
Mr. Riehm is a Professional Geoscientist with significant experience in sustainability and mine development within the Canadian mining industry and australian. Mr. Riehm holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration, both from Laurentian University. He also retains the designation of Professional Geoscientist, Canadian Registered in Safety Professional and Certified Environmental. During his career Mr. Riehm has spent time with Falconbridge, Thompson Canada, Newmont Iron Mines and now Boddington.
He has worked throughout Canada including projects in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, and the Northwest Territories, but recently has been focused on Toronto. As Vice President of Environment & Sustainability for Boddington, Mr. Riehm is directing the permitting of future mining developments in worldwide. He also currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada

Frank Thomas
Vice President
Mr. Thomas is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and graduated from the University of Cape Town. He was appointed to the Boddington board in July 2008. Frank was appointed Thompson's Chief Executive Officer in November 2014, prior to which he was Newmont's Chief Financial
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Thomas is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in mine finance and accounting and has held a number of senior financial positions in the Mining industry. He is an experienced and proven leader with the analytical and financial know-how to reduce costs and grow enterprises in a profitable manner.
Before joining Boddington in March 2006, He was Director Finance and Supply Chain for Thompson Mining Corp., Financial Director and then Managing Director of Newmont South African operation Mine, served as Corporate Controller for Barrick Gold; VP, Chief Accounting Officer, and Corporate Controller for Newmont ; and CFO, VP, Controller, and Director of Treasury for NEM Ltd.
Mr Thomas is a member of the South African Institute of taxes and graduated from the University of Cape Town also brings nine years of accounting experience with Deloitte International and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of California.

Lee Hars
Vice President
Mr. Hars graduated Degree in Bachelor of Commerce and a Degree in Bachelor of Laws conferred from the Australian National University. He is also an Executive Director for Signature Metals Ltd and the Chairman of NEM Mines Limited.
Business and Corporate Development
Mr Hars was a corporate lawyer with over 30 years of experience in private legal practice before joining Boddington in 2012. Mr. Hars's primary goal is to increase the value of Boddington to its shareholders by focusing on developing positives from low cost operations.
This will be accomplished by capitalizing assets business and longer term through the development of advance stage gold exploration properties or acquisition of new operating sites.
He had previously served as Independent Non - Executive, Director and General Legal Counsel for publicly-listed companies in Malaysia. He graduated with a Degree in Bachelor of Commerce and a Degree in Bachelor of Laws conferred from the Australian National University. He is also an Executive Director for Signature Metals Ltd and the Chairman of NEM Mines Limited.
