Mr.Andrue, started his career with Thompson Creek in Canada Gold Mine as a graduate trainee and progressed via various operational roles from being an underground shift boss to become Vice President and Head of Operations at Vale Gold Mine. More recently, Mr.Andrue was the COO at Pascua Lama which, it will have gold mining operations in South America by Barrick.

Mr. Mahans has over 30 years’ experience in experience in human resources across a variety of industries, including mining, manufacturing, healthcare and banking, Italia brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly in the labour field, which is crucial to domestic and international operations. He joined the organisation in 2005. He is responsible for the global people strategy at AngloGold Ashanti where it is well recognised that ‘people are the business, and our business is people’.
Previous positions include senior human resources officer at Anglo American, and senior managerial positions in the same field at African Thompson Minerals Gold and Newmont. He has a proven track record in the full spectrum of human resource functions also has an outstanding record in managing labour matters, especially in conducting and guiding negotiations with organised labour. Mr. Mahans is a member of the Executive Committee of the Labour Law at Human British Governance.

He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance. Mr. Carson is a senior mining executive with considerable Finance and Business Development experience. He joined Boddington International in 1994 and became Regional Manager Financial in 2009. Prior to this, he was a Division Director of Investment Banking at Bank South in South Africa, He worked at some of the world’s leading metals and mining companies including Thompson Mining Inc., Falconbridge Limited, Value Corp Gold and Barrick Latam.
He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and investment banking, predominantly in the resources sector in Africa. During this time, James was a key strategic player in several major acquisitions and divestitures.
